Perkasa 37" 1:32 Scale - Fibreglass Hull | The Perkasa is a scale gas turbine attack craft. This model has a wooden hull and features a one-piece superstructure which, when removed, gives clear and easy access to the powerplant and R/C bays. No running hardware is provided as this will vary greatly depending on the type of power unit used. Not being a 'deep V' type hull, all versions of the model are ideal for electric power. They were the first warships in the world to be fitted with these engines, they have maximum speed between 50 and 60 knots. Most have diesel auxiliary engines for cruising and manoeuvring. They are hard-chine, planing boats, 96 ft. in length. The armament generally consists of two 40 mm L.60 Bofors guns and four 21-in torpedoes carried in side-launching chutes.
