Skibladner Sidewheel Steamer	The D/S Skibladner is the oldest steamship in regular service. She was built in 1856 and still regularly sails her ferry route on Lake Mjøsa in Norway. The Skibladner is also Norway's only paddlewheel-driven ship. It is still in operation today and has been in regular service since its maiden voyage on 2 August 1856. Its route calls at towns on both shores of Lake Mjøsa and runs from Eidsvold to Lillehammer. Her home port is Gjøvik. The ship is 50.1 m long. The hull has exceptionally slender lines with a width of only 5.06 m + the paddle wheels on each side. This gives a top speed of 14 knots. The propulsion system has 606 hp. The ship was built in a collaboration between Motala Shipyard and Aker Mek. The Skiblander is maintained by Oplandske Dampskipselskap, which still owns and operates the ship. The kit of laser-cut wooden parts comes with fittings kit and lighting. For the extension as a remote controlled driving model, a corresponding extension kit with motor and worm gear, servo for the rudder linkage and small parts is available as an accessory. The typical narrow hull construction of these paddle steamers naturally also presents some difficulties when building as a model and especially as an RC model. The hull has only a very low displacement and is correspondingly "tippy" due to its proportions. Therefore, we recommend this model for experienced model builders who have already gained experience with true-to-the-original RC model constructions. Conny	Norwegisches Fischerboot im Maßstab 1:25 Lasergeschnittener Holzbausatz, komplett mit Befestigungsset. M/S Conny ist ein Garnelentrawler aus dem norwegischen Küstenland. Es wurde im Flekkefjord erbaut und war mehrere Jahre in Egersund ansässig. Es ist ein tolles Modell mit vielen Details und voller Ausstattung im Steuerhaus. Das Modell eignet sich sowohl als Standmodell im Regal als auch ferngesteuert auf dem Wasser. Der Baukasten ist als Standmodell ausgelegt, es sind aber schon alle Ausschnitte für den Einbau des Antriebs und Grundplatten im Innern des Rumpfes vorgesehen, ebenso die Aussparung für ein 6 mm Stevenrohr. Die Teile für den Antrieb sowie Anlenkungen für das Ruder müssen allerdings getrennt beschafft werden. Die neuen Schiffsmodellkonstruktionen der norwegischen Firma Model-tec stellen eine Lücke im bisherigen Sortiment an Schiffsmodellen dar. Interessante norwegische Schiffskonstruktionen, wie sie sicherlich schon viele bei einem Urlaub kennenlernen durften und die zum Träumen einladen. Der Bausatz wird ganz aus Holz in Lasertechnologie gefertigt und ist schön detailliert. Für Skandinavienfreunde, die den Bau eines Spantenrumpfes mit Beplankung nicht scheuen, eine echte Bereicherung. Finnmarken	HURTIGRUTEN-SHIP 1:60 SCALE After the war, the Hurtigruten fleet had to be rebuilt and new ships were needed. In 1956 the M/S Finnmarken was put into service on the Norwegian coast. She was the first ship of the "new line" of Hurtigruten with a superstructure at the stern (stern loader). The M/S Finnmarken appeared as a prototype of a series of Hurtigruten ships which were put into service at the end of the 1950s and in the first half of the 60s. Furthermore, the M/S Ragnvald Jarl was built according to the same drawings as Finnmarken. They were sister ships, although they sailed for different shipping companies. Since 1993 the M/S Finnmarken is decommissioned and part of the Hurtigruten Museum in Stokmarknes. For the development of the kit of the M/S Finnmarken original drawings of the Hamburg shipyard Blohm & Voss could be used, from which it was built and delivered in 1956. The model is reproduced correctly in scale 1:60. It has a wonderfully beautiful hull and comes with full decor! The superstructures can be opened to see the furnishings of the salons. In addition, the model can be illuminated with LEDs both internally and externally. The kit is designed for use with propulsion and remote control on the water, but also inspires as a stand model. A list of the required accessories for the development as RC model can be found in the "Documents" tab. The decor contains the lettering of the sister ships M/S Finnmarken, M/S Ragnvald Jarl and M/S Sjøkurs with the NRK logos "Summer Boat". The kit includes an illustrated building instruction with text passages and parts list in English from modell-tec. This can be downloaded in the "Documents" tab. Follabuen	Norwegisches Fischerboot im Maßstab 1:25 MS Follabuen wurde in Sletta Båtbyggeri gebaut und 1959 nach Osen in Sør Trøndelag geliefert. Sie wurde als ST-32-O in das Register eingetragen und mit einem 125 PS starken Zweizylindermotor ausgestattet. Follabuen wurde hauptsächlich zum Fischen an der Küste von Trøndelag eingesetzt. Sie wurde auch beim Fjordfischen auf Hering verwendet. Dieses große Modell eines norwegischen Fischerbootes hat einen Maßstab von 1:25 und eine Länge von 750 mm. Der Bausatz der Follabuen wird als lasergeschnittener Bausatz aus Holz komplett mit Beschlägen geliefert. Es ist ein schönes Modell mit vielen Details und einer robusten Konstruktion. Die Konstruktion der Follabuen wurde bereits mit Blick auf die Fernbedienung auf “Version 2” aufgerüstet. Das Set enthält die Bodenplatte für Motor und Fernbedienung sowie den einstellbaren Motorhalter für einen 600-Motor. Die Teile für den Antrieb sowie Anlenkungen für das Ruder müssen allerdings getrennt beschafft werden. Jeanett	The MS Jeanette is a model of a fishing vessel found along the entire coat of Norway. For its size the vessel is powerful with a large load capacity and is used for lop and mackerel fishing in the North Sea. MS Jeanette is a model of a Skogsoy 42 built at the yard of Skogsoy Bat in Mandal, Norway. The model is single plank on bulkhead construction with laser cut sheets. The kit comes with all parts and fittings and English instructions and highly detailed drawings showing each step of the model's construction.
