An easy to build internal hull design allows the kit to be built even by non-experienced model builders. The design compensates the material bending, so there is no need for the preliminary straigthening of the frames or the keel frame, if they have any bends. The kit has double planking, with pre-cut planks, both draft and finish. Short historical reference Schooner “Polotsk” was built on Sicily in 1777. Double boats appeared in 30th of the XVIII century and were predecessors of gunboats, besides their principal “battling” function they also served as advice boats and ran a mission of landing forces and transportation. Cannon JOLLE | A detailed wooden kit, based on the archive drawings and documents. A rather simple rigging, along with the special hull design, which compensates the material deformations, make this model great even for a newbie model maker. Short historical reference Homeland of a cannon jolle is considered to be Sweden. The basic designs were made by famous Swedish shipbuilder of English origin - Fredrik Chapman. Their construction began from the 70s of the XVIII century. Unlike the gunboat, jolles were cheaper and required less time to build then gunboats. Lifeboat | A quite simple, but eye-catching wooden kit. This small lifeboat was carefully reconstructed following the historical drawings. The sailing vessels of the 18-th century were equipped with similar lifeboats for emergency and sevice purposes. Morel | Ruslands eerste militaire onderzeeër In 1721 gaf Peter I Yefim Nikonov de opdracht om een "verborgen schip met een grote romp" te leggen op de plaats van de Galley Yard in St. Petersburg. "Morel" wordt beschouwd als de eerste militaire onderzeeër in Rusland. Het houten schip had een tonvormige romp van ongeveer 6 meter lang, was vastgemaakt met ijzeren hoepels en had een kajuit met patrijspoorten. De roeispanen dienden als beweger. E.
